Why All Natural Dog Soap?
Did you ever wonder what ingredients in your dog’s soap? Have you ever read the label? If your dog’s soap has Tea Lauryl Sulphate or chemicals that are too long to pronounce, perhaps it’s time for a change!
Let’s face it – most ‘soap’ you buy on the market isn’t even really soap. The natural glycerin has been stripped out – to be sold again to you later. It contains petroleum products, artificial fragrances, synthetics and harsh chemicals that strip the natural oils from your dog’s coat, dry out the skin, and can even irritate them. What’s more, after bathing our dogs, we put chemical pesticides right on their skin to kill insects.
<>pLavinia Botanica handmade dog soaps are 100% all-natural vegetarian soap which is a natural alternative to chemical washes. I created this dog soap range because we wanted a gentle soap to be available to bathe your precious companion. My dog shampoo bars are handmade with quality food grade oils like olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and neem oil. All ingredients and procedures are the same as for our human luxury range; these soaps will condition their coats, leaving your dog’s coat silky and shining. We have added specific essential oils to any skin condition and reducing pesky insects that might irritate their skin.
There are NO artificial or synthetic ingredients in our soap range. And because there are no artificial latherers like we are all used to in shampoos, *YOU* are the one who needs to provide the elbow grease. Work up the lather in your hands for 15 seconds before applying to a very wet dog. Best of all, it rinses out quite easily even when used on very thick dog coats.
You will find a wide range of healthful and all natural soaps for your dog. Soaps that contain the very finest ingredients, carefully chosen for their beneficial effects and your dog needs.

Neem oil what is it?
Neem oil is made from the seeds of the neem tree. The bark, leaves and oil of the neem tree have been used in India for several thousand years, and are still used today. About 75% of Ayurvedic remedies contain some form of neem! Indians call the sacred neem tree “the village pharmacy”, and have limitless faith in its abilities. People value neem as a natural insect repellent and pesticide, they use it for skin care and skin disorders. Neem oil is used on humans, animals, and plants for a huge range of different problems and diseases.
Neem is the most heavily researched herbal remedy in India. Scientists have identified over 150 active substances. Neem oil is hardly known in Australia or Europe, but in the US it has reached high fashion status.
Neem oil in pet soap for dogs keeps fleas, ticks, dog scabies mites, and any other annoying biting insects away, and generally promotes a shiny, healthy and problem-free coat and skin (just like using neem products on your own hair and skin does). It relieves skin rashes, kills some of the contagious causes of yeast infections, and reduces ringworm and eczema in dogs and boosts the immune system. Since neem is known for its insecticidal properties, giving your dog a bath with neem oil shampoo will help to get rid of all these skin problems. This soap is safe even if you use it often. Reducing unnecessary loss of fur, preventing skin diseases, strengthening and improving the fur coat are some of the benefits of neem oil for dogs.
